Consulting / Technical Review

Where the total scope of work required or the problem to be solved is ambiguous or requires investigation, we can provide consultancy, either on a T&M or fixed cost basis. These engagements will typically conclude with various written outputs that allow further decisions to be made. Examples include:

• Assessment of technical debt and recommendations for remediation
• Architectural discovery and review of existing systems
• Technical due diligence (during mergers or acquisitions, or preparation for this)
• Exploration of options for problem software projects
• Second opinions on important or risky decisions
• Estimation of cost and schedule for software / technical projects

These engagements would start with a simple statement of work and would complete with handover of reports and other resources, typically at a client presentation.
